一部非常详实地介绍丘吉尔的纪录片，解说文本也非常出彩。通过这部纪录片，你能切实地感到，丘吉尔是一个非常偏执的人，比如烧楼制服歹徒，牺牲法国舰队换取海洋安全。虽然颇有争议，但恰是这些偏执的人能够面对巨大危机的时候爆发出极大的能量。丘吉尔是二战胜利的精神象征，还有古典时代的贵族气质，永远值得被尊重。
丘吉尔不是好人，而是个强人，会闯大祸，也能做大事。人天生就有的慕强心态决定了纵使丘时贤时愚，毁誉参半，也依然会名垂青史。 ps:这片后半段完全沦为了歌功颂德片，只会惹人发笑。为黑苏吹丘什么都好意思说，反正我是看不出在希腊复辟封建王权，抱着旧殖民地不放，被美苏暴打的英国有什么资格以战后先知、救世主自居，不磕碜吗？
伟绩和困顿都有叙述，殖民思却提的少之又少。立体看人物才能更丰满，由此观之，我们亦然。
